Events Information

For events:

Under Executive Order 2020-43 organized public events of 50 people or more are prohibited unless approved by the local governing body -- adequate safety precautions, including physical distancing, must be implemented.

If you are interested in hosting a public event with 50 people or more, you should connect with your local governing body to understand their protocols.

This information can be found on the Governor's Office's website which houses all of our executive orders. If you need to point a client/contract holder to a place, it is displayed on this ADHS website, as well.

Private Events Guidance

Last week the Department of Health Services released private event guidance. Follow the ink for more information.

You can navigate to this information by using this page of the Arizona Office of Tourism website.

Special Events Licenses:

Executive Order 2020-43 also halted the issuances of Special Events Licenses from the Department of Liquor Licensing and Control. This prohibition is still in place, but is being reviewed by the Department of Health Services. I will let you know when there is an update.

Parlor Games:

The Department of Health Services is currently evaluating the future of parlor games for the bar and restaurant industry. I will provide an update when we have one.
